26th April Barwell
ended the season on a high by beating bottom club Cradley Town and extending their
unbeaten run to five games. Just as importantly, the side achieved the target
of 60 points set by new manager Marcus Low when he took over at the start of March.
The players clearly responded to him as the Canaries climbed the table from
the fringes of the relegation zone to finish the season in a comfortable 10th
place. All thoughts at Kirkby Road will now turn to a better season starting in
August. The victory against Cradley was achieved through goals by Kevin Charley
and Daniel Swann.
